while i'm still wondering what to present for tmr's communication skills, sis pop out with the article on Sarong Party Girl (SPG) from the New Paper. she told me tt girl used to be in the same sec school as her too, so she kinda noe who she is. anyways, i'd curiously read her blog before but mum was walking in and out frm behind so i stopped reading it cox you noe there's pictures too. and mum could just spot WTH i'm reading.
yeh. tmr,i'm gonna talk bout Singapore's bloggers since our teacher wants us to relate our topics to singapore. and you noe how boring it will be if we're to discuss a lot on political stuff or education system, dots dots dots.
hmm so basically i've stand in front of the whole class of 27classmates + 1 teacher tt makes a total of 28 times 2 eyes staring at me! isn't tt scary? hope i can speak 'normally'. pls...
my 2 mins presentation goes like this:
hi everybody! i'm gonna discuss bout teengage bloggers in singapore and i believe tt most of us blog right? but even if you dun, i bet everyone here noe what blogging is. its sort of like an online diary where pple can write whatever they like for others to read and post their comments. and when we talk about blogging, we'll definitely noe who wendy cheng is; the infamous xiaxue.blogspot. i've visited her blog and seriously think its not as interesting as what i've heard. i tot her blog is made up of a whole load of criticicsm and 'bitching' whatever she tot can make her blog interesting.how interesting? -as many as 8000 readers a day? i think tt really showed good she is in grapping pple's attention. perhaps its becox she added pictures for pple who're lazy to read. nontheless, her posts are misleading, self denying and petty.
talking bout posting pictures in blogs, sarong party girl is the next blooger who drew pple's attention to her nude body which was posted recently(but was removed). her eagerness to gain pulicity somehow back fired her though. the fact is tt as long as its in singapore and not in some liberal country lik america, this act is not appreciated to a certain extent. honestly, i'm alright with tt but i dunno why an intellectual girl would wanna degrade herself like this. but once again, be it a piece of body art or pornagraphy, she has the right to do whatever she want in her own blog, and the reader's source of entertainment. thank you everyone! tt's the end of my presentation.
